May Day programme, 2008

Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF) is going to join observing May Day with the Labour Ministry from 1-3 May. MJF is organizing a seminar on the 3 May from 3-5pm on Contribution of migrant workers in Bangladesh and present situation.

Foreign Adviser Dr. Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury will present as Chief Guest while Secretary Ministry of Labour and Employment and Secretary of Ministry of Expatriate will present as Special Guest. Executive Director of MJF Shaheen Anam will chair the seminar.

Professor Tasneem Siddique of RAMMRU will present the keynote paper. Saiful Haque from WARBE and Sheikh Romana from BOMSA will take part in the discussion session.. There will be a 20 - minute long drama by BRAC beneficiary group and they will show one success case and one unsuccessful case in their drama.
