| Brief history of the Organization: |
A group of dedicated indigenous social activists founded Trinamul Unnayan Sangstha (TUS) in 1997 to carry out development activities. TUS envisages a development stage in the society, where social justice, equality and freedom of the disadvantaged and marginalized people are achieved and their full and effective participation is ensured at all levels of development process. TUS is presently working on the areas of Community development, Community empowerment, Natural resource management, Water and sanitation, Advocacy on good governance and Livelihood for the community. |
| Project Objective: |
-To enhance capacity of the target communities for sustainable hill farming and agro-processing.
-To promote marketing and processing of locally available agricultural and non-agricultural products;
-Community are organized to realize their rights on claiming land for their group.

1. Capacity of the 600 communities enhanced for sustainable hill farming and agro-processing
2. Income of the 600 community member increased and develop network with agriculture department and business organization
3. 600 community member will sell their handicraft product.
