| Brief history of the Organization: |
SOHAY is a non government organisation working in Dhakkhin Khan and Uttar Khan Unions to increase the literacy of slum children in these areas. This programme aims to lift poor families out of poverty and end the human suffering through education and skill development. |
| Project Objective: |
1) To ensure education and health facilities for the slum dweller children are protected and make the duty bearers responsive.
2) To assist children replace their hazardous jobs by conducive job ensure support from the employers and the duty bearers.

| Expected Outcome: |
1. At the end of the project, 800 school aged children in SOHAY working areas will be enrolled in Government Primary School for education and will enjoy the education facilities and they will attend school regularly.
2. At the end of the project, 80 children will leave hazardous work to work in non hazardous environments and SOHAY will link them with the job market and all SOHAY supported families will be against the child labour.
3. At the end of the project 550 families will have access to health facilities from Government and NGOs health institute and have basic awareness on education, health, water and sanitation.
4. At the end of the project the local duty bearers and community leaders will become more supportive towards the rights of slum children
