Brief history of the Organization:
SAFE is a non-government, non-profitable voluntary development organization. It has been working on environmental and social issues since 1998 and registered itself with the social welfare department of the Government of Bangladesh in the year 2001.

SAFE believes in sustainable development of society and environment, where poor and distressed people would be in the center of all development activities and will create an enabling condition to enjoy the civic, political, economic and cultural rights of poor and marginal people.

SAFE is committed to human rights, women rights and other legal rights to improve the level of consciousness and socio-economic advancement. This organization also plays a great role for social awareness and indicates various types of environmental problems and its solutions.
Project Objective:
Labour rights situation in the shrimp processing factories of Khulna region improved.
Expected Outcome:
Labour rights situation in shrimp processing factories of Khulna region improved.
Project Goal: Working condition of the women labourers in the shrimp processing factories of Khulna region is now favourable.
