| Brief history of the Organization: |
PROTIBANDHI SHISHU SHIEKKHA O PARICHARJA SAMITY (PROSHIPS) is a Non government voluntary organization. PROSHIPS was established in 1998 with the initiate of group of young, educated, dedicated professional and social workers.
It is registered with Directorate of social services, Govt. of Bangladesh No- Ja00452 Date 09.06.1999 and it also registered NGO affairs bureau for foreign donation received, Registration No: 1730 Date -14.08.2002. PROSHIPS has got the recognition of its relentless efforts for enlistment of the disabled people and got the membership of National forum of Organization Working with the Disabled (NFOWD) and partner NGO of National Foundation of Development of Disabled person(NFDDP) Ministry of Social welfare, Government of Bangladesh. It is also member organization of Centre for Disability in Development (CDD) and Bangladesh Shishu Adhiker Forum (BSAF) |

-To educate different stakeholders (student, local government, community people, school teacher, civil society, NGOs) on the rights of children with disabilities.
-To organize the children with disability and provide them with information and skills as needed.
