| Brief history of the Organization: |
Naripokkho is a membership-based women’s activist organisation founded in 1983, working for the advancement of women’s rights and entitlements and building resistance against violence, discrimination and injustice. Naripokkho activities include: advocacy campaigns, research, discussions, cultural events and lobbying on issues of gender justice. The aims of this initial phase was to develop a method to monitor and observe the effects of gender related behaviour and identify the procedural gaps in the judiciary system, the laws relating to violence against women (VAW) and the implementation of current laws and policies.

| Project Objective: |
1. Organize and strengthen the role and activities of Service Delivery institutions specially Police, Health and Court to combat violence against women
2. Improve the health services to violence victim /survivors at Upazilla Health Complex. |
| Expected Outcome: |
- 25% Upazilla Health complex imroved their health services.
- Reduced the lengthy procedures of court cases due to the responsible behavior and accountability to wards women.
- Service D3livery Institutions preserve the information properly and oppurtinuty created for people to use the information.
- Improved the competency of Police officers to deal the VAW cases.
- Improved the justice system and getting proper justice. |

Monitoring Police Stations, Courts and Hospitals of Dhaka Metropolitan area and 46 Upazilla under 10 districts.
Implementation of Government order regarding the medico legal examination at Upazila Health Complex at least 46 upazills.
Capacity development of Police professionals on " behavioral communication skill'
Dissemination meetings with Divisional/ Distric/ Local Administration to improve and build coordination |
