| Brief history of the Organization: |
At the end of 1999, some committed and dedicated youth founded Humanitarian Foundation under the leadership of Mr. Moung Moung Shing and Mr. Amar Shanti Chakma with view to survive the vulnerable and marginalized people of CHT in the new Millennium.
Education (Formal and Non-formal), Water and Sanitation, Gender and Development, Child Development, Entrepreneurship Development, Health and Nutrition, Income Generation Projects, Environment, Forestry, Fish Culture, HIV/AIDS, and Human Rights and Good Governance are working focus of the humanitarian foundation
Humanitarian Foundation works together with outcast, oppressed and extremely poor people to eliminate their sufferings, eradicate poverty and strive for social justice and to uphold and promote human rights, human dignity and gender equity.

| Project Objective: |
1. Women leaders and civil society members are active to protect tribal women rights and protect against any rights violation.
2. Economic condition enhanced among the target women group |
| Expected Outcome: |
1. At least 800 peoples have organised at para level through forming 40 groups are able to raise voices collectively and conducting activities like Rice Bank and Self-help credit to cope with lean and crisis period as well as for self-reliance.
2. The knowledge, perception and practice on human and women rights amongst the tribal family and society at targeted community level increased.
3.An enabling working environment for women is promoted through formation of groups of tribal people, formation of “Sacheton Nari Mancha” (SNM) at upazila and an Apex body at district level and local leaders, youths, civil society members and non-Sacheton people become more responsive. 4.Economic condition enhanced among the 800 target women through homestead gardening/cash crop. |
