| Brief history of the Organization: |
Since 1976 FULKI has been working with children and education. Over the period they have identified that teaching method in our country does not allow children to express their latent quality and become socially responsible citizen . Education does not carry cultural values and promotes culture. So they started innovative cultural programme oriented education programme in order to avoid monotonous, memorized based education method. Gradually they intervened into mainstreamed schools and integrated some sessions with innovative method. First they started these programme in Chittagong later it was replicated in few other districts |
| Project Objective: |
i. To ensure for students an interactive learning process using enjoyable cultural inputs.
ii. To build social support groups and GoB support base for the programme.

| Expected Outcome: |
- The school students’ creativity on visual art, music skill, literary aptitude, story telling skill and recitation improved and enjoyable educational atmosphere in schools created.
- Creative skill, intellectual depth and pro-active mindset of students developed.
- Teachers, parents, SMC and students are sensitized on Child Rights and IECP.
- Importance of cultural and environmental issues in education is highlighted in media.
- GoB, NGO, SMC, likeminded organizations, civil society, media, professional groups realized importance of IECP and their active involvement to support the programme ensured.
