CONCERNED WOMEN FOR FAMILY DEVEOPMENT (CWFD) emerged from an emotional response to help women in need of reproductive health care counseling. The organization was established in 1975 at Dhaka. CWFD tried to promote an gender sensitive process in thier working area to address the vulnerable people particularly women and children. The development partners are USAID, Manusher Jonno Foundation, and Action Aid Bangladesh. CARE Bangladesh, EU and UNFPA stretched their helping hands for technical and financial assistance.

- To pro-active all the people of working areas on Family discrimination and Domestic Violence against Women. - To aware and exert control over legal justice, raise voice, build capacity on women rights and legal issues. - To strengthen local Organization/CBO's and more accountable on Violence prevention&protection.

- An strong network will be established with like minded development organizations, individuals and concerning government departments. - 80% people will be aware and sensitize on VAW issue. - More then 60% people will be aware about family laws and able to claim support from the effective sources - The existing rate of violence against women will reduce by 60% of total identified victims. - More then 60% will get medical support through this project among the identified victims - 50%-identified victims will be benefited through the counseling. - 10% - identified victims will be benefited through skill training.
