| Brief history of the Organization: |
Brotee is an organization for social change founded in 1993 as a center for people's participation, has been working to strengthen 'people's participation' in development through capacity and institution building. It's commitment to participation, and therefore, to democracy and good governance has become more pronounced over the years. In addition to that Brotee facilitate action research in wholesome participation of 'excluded and marginalized'through its gonogobeshana approach in the protection of peoples right to safe water, right to fair elections and good governance under the concept of 'for social change. |
| Project Objective: |
a. Replicate and spread the HR movement to other areas/villages and extension of the GG-HR approach
b. Evolve a strategic exit plan, village ownership to sustain VMPRVC and GG movement and the GG-HR approach for old villages and action plan for the future from learning.
c. Develop Brotee as a center for Gono Gobeshona (people’s action research) for HR and poverty reduction.
d. Institution building for GG-HR in village by advocacy, communication and dissemination and evolve social laboratory for GG-HR approach.

| Expected Outcome: |
- Village Cooperatives formed amongst the vulnerable/ultra poor groups and collectively they will save money, invest that for income generation, improve their economic condition
- GGD will take social initiative to protect human rights of marginalized
- Established strong institutional linkages with local elected bodies (UP, UZ) to get services such as distribution of VGD cards, fertilizers during crisis, pure drinking water, wages for old people, in even giving out free sanitary latrines to the poor etc |

| Major Activity: |
Beneficiaries’ capacity building to replicate GG-HR movement
Progression of promoting & protecting human rights of the marginalized and governance through mobilization of the villages
Initiate micro enterprise and self employment opportunities of ultra poor cooperatives and GGDs by skill development training and establish linkages with SME service providers
Initiate advocacy, communication and dissemination program on GG-HR approach locally, nationally: UP, UZ level sharing meetings, workshops, village/UP/UZ level gathering/conventions and national seminars to gain support for HR movement of the vulnerable |
