| Brief history of the Organization: |
Ain O Salish Kendra (ASK) commits itself to work the ordinary citizens to create and maintain a democratic system for a continued process to develop towards a culture of human rights as well as a process of vigilance for its unhindered growth. ASK is aware that the state bears the main responsibility of establishing rule of law in the country, the non state actors including the civil society too have a moral responsibility to take part with the state to contribute to the effort in achieving this goal based on a set of agreed principle. The goal of ASK is: Rule of Law established based on the principle of equality, democracy, human rights, and justice and gender equity. The main objective of the organization is: An enabling environment for demanding good governance, non- discrimination and social justice created |
| Project Objective: |
1. Awareness and sensitivity increased in the community on laws relating to women rights, gender and human rights;
2. Culture of protesting, preventing and reducing violence against women and claiming women’s human rights by the community people initiated.
3. Legal and social safety net strengthened in terms of rapid response and access to justice.

| Expected Outcome: |
1. Community people and Partner organizations’ responsiveness and capacity in promoting women rights and protesting violence against women increased;
2. Community and local level organizations’ response and concerns towards reducing Women Rights Violations enhanced;
3. Moreover, poor people got justice at a minimum cost and consequently local resources used properly for the disenfranchised people. In this way poor women are economically benefited and which helped to reduce their poverty;
4. Respect towards women’s right to mobility, opinion, taking part in decision-making process increased in the area which impact in case of protesting dowry demand, child marriage, and realization of dower money.
5. Communication among the community people and duty bearers strengthened.

| Major Activity: |
Capacity development through raising awareness, training activities for 4000 primary targeted community on laws relating to women rights, psychosocial counseling, gender and Women human rights,
Mobilize community through forming Community Legal Aid Group (CLAG) and facilitate them to take action
Provide Psychosocial Counseling to the victims and legal aid to the disenfranchised
