| Brief history of the Organization: |
ADORE is a non-govt. volunteer organization, working in Khulna , Bangladesh established in 1992. ADORE started to provide non-formal education program among the deprived street children in Khulna metro city area along with adult literacy program, women savings program, anti-drug campaign by organizing street & open drama etc. In 2001, with the support of Bangladesh Freedom Foundation ADORE started to work for disadvantaged or deprived women, specially for reduction of poverty through women entrepreneurship development. |

-Setting up “resource centre” on women entrepreneurship
-Establishing a self-functioning “model association” of home-based entrepreneurs in the name of Small Business Women Initiators in Khulna (SBWIK)
-Popularising the concept of home-based entrepreneurship
-Developing an efficient team to deal with issues related to home-based women entrepreneurs
-Ensuring trade-favourable environment for the home-based entrepreneurs

| Expected Outcome: |
A total of 170 families will directly be involved to improve standard of livelihood through home based entrepreneurs. On the contrary, 170 skilled women will come up to transfer their skill/technologies to other underprivileged women in many ways. |

To create a replicable model of home-based women entrepreneurs’ associations in order to influence state policy level to provide trade-favourable environment. |

To explore home based entrepreneureurs situation in Bangladesh and set-up a resource center.
To enhance capacity of the association members to make SBWIK recognised and self-functioning.
To promoto and institutionalize the concept of home-based enterpreneurship and uphold women empowerment in national economy.
Developing capacity of the staff members of ADORE in order to develop network, active linkages and promote market for the home-based entrepreneurs. |
